We joined Lukas Egger on SAP Signavio's Process Transformers podcast to explore a question that doesn't get asked enough in enterprise AI conversations: what if productivity is the wrong frame entirely?

The episode—"Beyond Tools: Envisioning AI as Symbiotic Partners in Business and Life"—pushed past the usual metrics of efficiency and automation to consider AI's deeper impact on how we think, feel, and relate to our work. We challenged the assumption that AI's value is primarily about getting more done faster. That framing, we argued, ignores the emotional, cognitive, and cultural shifts AI is already ushering in.

The conversation covered familiar Artificiality territory: how AI reshapes expertise and power dynamics within organizations, the hidden biases that get amplified when AI encounters existing corporate cultures, and why trust and AI literacy are prerequisites—not afterthoughts—for productive adoption.

Our core message to corporate leaders: AI can be a force for innovation, creativity, and meaning-making—but only if you prioritize human dignity and cultivate symbiotic relationships between humans and machines. Treat AI adoption as a technical project and you'll miss what's actually changing. Treat it as a cultural transformation and you have a chance to shape something worth building.
