Artificiality Institute Speaking at Caldera

We are excited to provide a presentation with our community member, Heather Crank, on the future of AI & creativity at a special evening at Caldera in Sisters, Oregon on Thursday, April 16. Our session will be part of an intimate Drawing Room fundraiser focused on the lived experience of youth in 2026. At a time when it has never been harder to be a kid, we’ll explore how identity, technology, and community shape the lives of Oregon’s youth—and how Caldera’s work to awaken creativity supports their sense of belonging.
This salon-style gathering brings together artists and thinkers for a guided conversation exploring the intersection of creativity, technology, and identity, and how tools like AI can either deepen or disrupt creative agency. Together, we’ll reflect on what it means to stay human—and creative—in a rapidly changing world, and how Caldera supports young people in finding voice, belonging, and confidence through art.
The evening includes a dinner by Tournant, conversation, music, and a chance to make a gift in support of Caldera's work on the beautiful land where it happens.
